Webinar: 3D City Construction Workflows

ERDAS announces 3D City Construction Workflows: From Collection to Presentation, a free webinar on Tuesday, 9 December 2008. In the past, construction in urban areas has been difficult to capture with traditional geospatial tools and workflows. This webinar will highlight workflow considerations and actual processing procedures, from photogrammetric 3D feature extraction through ancillary product generation and finally, methodologies for data sharing and dissemination.

Cities areas are constantly changing. City planners, environmental groups, utility companies and other associated businesses require the most up-to-date geospatial information, and seamlessly integrated tools to perform detailed analysis and visualisation.

Each month, ERDAS is offering at least two different webinar topics. To meet the needs of ERDAS' global audience, most webinars will be hosted twice on a scheduled day. In addition to a live presentation and demonstration, each webinar also includes the opportunity for customers to interact directly with the presenter. Scheduled to last forty-five minutes, each webinar will include approximately thirty minutes of presented material and fifteen minutes for Q&A.

Following 3D City Construction Workflows: From Collection to Presentation, the next ERDAS webinars will be:

December 11, 2008-Catalog and Deliver all of Your Enterprise's Geospatial Data over the Web

December 16, 2008-Broadcasting Your Local Government
