Xsens Decade of Partnership Award

Motion sensor supplier Xsens has celebrated its tenth year of business with presentation of a Decade of Partnership Award to Professor Peter Veltink. The company office near the Technical University of Twente (Netherlands) was the scene for the Mayor of Enschede to speak a few words of congratulation. The occasion was also marked by the official opening of the Los Angeles branche in the United States.

The company has a special relationship with this scientist as the majority of the engineers employed by Xsens have accomplished their education with him. As Xsens has a strong cooperation with the university, he still is a scientific coach. He received a real gyroscope, representing the much smaller electronic versions in the devices that Xsens delivers and saw a meeting room named after him.

The Los Angeles office of the company serves the entertainment industry, where the motion sensors gain popularity for animations of games and cartoons.
