GeoEye-1 Imagery for GoogleGeoEye has started delivering Google with high-resolution, colour satellite imagery from its newest satellite. The GeoEye-1 satellite images currently highlighted by Google were all taken within the last sixty days, and include images of the Pyramids of Giza, Mount Fuji, Sydney Australia, and many other recognisable locations. The images were all taken from 423 miles in space as GeoEye-1 moved around the Earth at 17,000 miles per hour. The last session of the conference Day One included a presentation on cyber security. Like health and safety, much of this topic is obvious - when you think about it. GEO Business Expands for 2018

GEO Business, the UK’s largest geospatial exhibition and conference, has grown year on year since its inception. In fact, the 2018 show looks set to be the most successful show to date, with more exhibition space and a brand-new seminar programme.
