Maptek PerfectDig has been honoured at South Australia and the Northern Territory's Information and Communications Technology (ICT) awards show and won Southern Australia's Industrial and Resources category of the Australia Information Industry Association (AIIA) iAwards. The award was presented at a gala lunch at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Thursday 11 June 2015. Maptek Supports Education

Maptek has established two USD2,500 scholarship awards for students at the Colorado School of Mines, in Golden, Colorado. Scholarships for Mining Engineering and Geology/Geological Engineering will be awarded to undergraduate students who maintain a minimum GPA and satisfactory academic progress. Maptek Vulcan 9 Released Globally

Maptek has announced the global release of geological modelling and mine planning software Vulcan 9. According to the Australia-based company, users around the world will be able to take advantage of the performance upgrades, including the removal of the dynamic memory setting. The amount of data loaded and manipulated will only be restricted by the hardware.
