Geocue 2012 Training Event

GeoCue’s 2012 Training Event will be held from 17 to 21 September 2012 in Nashville, USA. The GeoCue 2012 Training Event provides a range of courses on all supported GeoCue, Terrasolid and QCoherent products. GeoCue and Terrasolid courses are offered in mixed tracks based on common workflow solutions and are offered in Basic to Advanced levels. QCoherent courses cover tools from Basic, Standard, and Advanced LP360 as well as Lidar Server, a web distribution tool.   Continuing Education Units (CEU) are available through the Pennsylvania State University. Online Geospatial Training Portal Launched

GeoLearn, a start-up devoted to servicing the geospatial industry with online learning and continuing education credits, has announced that it has launched its website and training portal with an initial catalogue of 22 one-hour-long courses taught by industry-leading faculty members. Course topics available at launch include UAVs, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys, and National Flood Plain Insurance. African Water Authorities Training EO

Around 30 water authorities from more than 15 African countries gathered in Nairobi, Kenya, from 26 to 30 November, to attend an advanced ESA TIGER training course on utilising Earth Observation technology to overcome water-related problems. The course provided an overview of the different applications of Earth Observation (EO) technology for improving integrated water resource management, with special attention placed on the needs of Africa. Spectroradiometer Training Session at SANSA

Hosted at the South African National Space Agency (SANSA) facility in Hartebeesthoek, South Africa, Spectral Evolution and its partner, Southern Mapping Company, offered a day of training on newly acquired PSR-3500 spectroradiometers. The training day was held on 11 February 2013.
