Tourism 3D Spatial Analysis

MFB-Geoconsulting has been selected to use several ERDAS solutions in a research project to study the impact of tourism on the alpine environment. The project is entitled 'ProMeRe - Processes and Methods for Interdisciplinary and Collaborative Spatial Analysis and Development.' GEO Call for Participation in GEOSSPilot

OGC has announced that a Call for Participation (CFP) in Phase 2 of the GEOSS (Global Earth Observation System of Systems) Architecture Implementation Pilot (AIP) has been issued by the GEO (Group on Earth Observations). Entergy Expands Its Implementation of Smallworld Geospatial Products

GE Energy (GA, USA) has announced that Entergy Corporation (LA, USA) has expanded its implementation of the Smallworld geospatial software product suite by selecting the Cornerstone Gas Productivity Pack for its Gas Division. Additionally, the company has upgraded its electric operations to the Smallworld Core Spatial Technology 4 application. Partnering on HMA-I Project

ERDAS and Spot Image announce a partnership, increasing both organisations' involvement in the Heterogeneous Mission Accessibility - Interoperability (HMA-I) project.     The European Space Agency (ESA) issued the HMA contract in 2005, defining the architecture and interoperability standards for harmonized data access across the ground segments of the European and Canadian missions contributing to the ESA's Global Monitoring for Environment & Security (GMES).
