TomTom Plans Bid for Tele Atlas

TomTom NV intends to make a cash offer of €21.25 per ordinary share for Tele Atlas NV. The Offer Price represents a 32% premium over Tele Atlas' average closing share price for the three months prior to 20 July 2007. Tele Atlas Maps for Samsung GPS Devices

Tele Atlas, a global provider of digital maps and dynamic content for navigation and location-based solutions, and Samsung Electronics, a mobile phone provider, have announced an agreement under which Samsung will use Tele Atlas maps for its GPS-enabled devices.
