New Cadcorp App Simplifies Access to UK Gazetteer Data

For the first time, the UK now has a single definitive national address and street database: the National Address Gazetteer. The release of the new database is being celebrated at the ‘Everything Happens Somewhere 2011’ conference and exhibition, where Cadcorp is announcing a new product. Extending Road Centerline Capabilities

Northampton County Pennsylvania awarded geographIT a contract to implement a robust Geographic Information System (GIS) enterprise data model, maintenance tools, and maintenance procedures for road centerlines.     In addition to time saving maintenance tools that enhance data quality, the database model supports street mapping, finding addresses referenced by multiple street names, vehicle routing, and  reconciling road names with the Master Street Address Guide (MSAG) database maintained by Northampton County E-911. Poland Selects MobileMapper CE

The Polish Ministry of Health, Main Sanitary Inspectorate, has purchased 120 Magellan MobileMapper CE handheld GIS GPS receivers to more efficiently develop and maintain the nation's database of potable water resources.
