Trimble has announced the cancellation of the 2020 edition of its annual Trimble Dimensions event. Due to the uncertainty regarding the coronavirus, the geospatial powerhouse has made the decision not to hold the event this year. Dimensions is the signature event for Trimble’s global user community spanning agriculture, construction, geospatial, transportation, utilities and more. “Unfortunately, the overwhelming concerns and ongoing impact of COVID-19 inhibit our ability to deliver a conference that meets the high standards of safety and excellence our attendees expect and deserve,” the company declares in a statement. ERDAS and GeoEye Rock Australia

Recently, ERDAS hosted its first ERDAS Rocks World Tour event in Australia. Partnering with GeoEye for this event, there were over 80 local users in attendance. Attendees came from various sectors with geospatial interests, including land agencies and local governments, as well as mining, oil and gas, photogrammetry, water resources, environment and health organisations. Risk Management Solutions through ArcGIS Online

Esri has announced that Wall Street Network (WSN) has released the first of a dozen risk management solutions, based on ArcGIS Online, called XtremeGIS. XtremeGIS provides access to information including global tropical cyclone event and forecast data from AccuWeather, satellite imagery from i-cubed, and WSN's knowledge management software.
