Specim, Spectral Imaging is launching a high-resolution hyperspectral imaging sensor with exceptional performance and the dimensions required for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) and other challenging applications. The V10M sensor operates in the VIS/NIR range of 380 - 1000nm and provides spectral and spatial imaging with negligible sub-pixel distortions (smile, keystone).   The current sensor has an excellent spatial resolution of 1300 pixels, and a 2000 pixel version is to be released later this year. Hyperspectral Imaging System

SPECIM have released AisaEAGLET, a Hyperspectral Imaging airborne sensor specifically designed for small aircrafts and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). Topcon (The Netherlands) has unveiled the GPT-7000i, its first reflectorless total station incorporating digital imaging technology. The instrument is based on the standard GPT-7000, offering reflectorless measurements up to a 250m range. China Imaging Satellite

In November last year China successfully put into orbit the third of its ZY-2 second transmitting-type remote sensing satellites. China launched the first and second ZY-2 satellites in September 2000 and October 2002, respectively, and these are still in orbit. Compared with these previous two satellites, the third has improved overall performance and technology.
