Archeology: Combining RIEGL TLS and UAV-borne Data

The ruins of the mediaeval castle Gars in Lower Austria were documented in an extensive surveying campaign by RIEGL with the scientific support from the Ludwig-Boltzmann Institute, Vienna. Terrestrial and UAV-borne datasets have been registered together, images were automatically geo-referenced – the result is a comprehensive, highly accurate point cloud of the areal providing numerous additional information and features.
