Sivan Design Releases Civil Simulate

Civil Simulate by Sivan Design (Israel) provides an effective solution to the challenge of turning civil engineering design into 3D highly sophisticated simulation. In today's digital domain simulation is the preferred tool for cost effective planning and design. 3D software provides an intuitive means with which amateurs and professionals can successfully facilitate their engineering ideas through visually convincing presentations. Current 3D simulation tools are limited when challenged with complex terrain, large scale global projects and the often required, on-the-spot screen revisions.

Civil Simulate uses LandXML protocol which enables the design to be imported from civil engineering CAD software, like: Autodesk Civil 3D, CivilCAD and others, to a 3D simulation "at a click". The software is unique in its ability to merge the design with an orthophoto and bring an accurate virtual reality 3D vision of complex structures like: junctions, roundabouts, parking lots, interchanges, ramps, bridges and tunnels, canals, reservoirs etc. In addition, the designer can utilise the software to demonstrate aerial views while conducting interactive drive-through simulations in different settings such as: fog, snow, night driving, with distance measurement capabilities, making visibility safety checks a breeze.

Civil Simulate does it all with speed, high accuracy of +/- 2 cm to the CAD model, and most importantly it has a proven success rate in handling large scale engineering projects. From the "drawing board" perspective, the planning process is quicker because the designer is provided with a powerful online project viewing capability tool bridging the gaps between the virtual and reality. Changes are innate and critical components of the planning process, thus any modifications made by review committees are notoriously known for hindering a project's ratification, hence leading to completion delays. Civil design simulation software turns this time consuming work into an efficient well-organised process.
