PHOTOMOD Lite is a free software package which has all features of PHOTOMOD digital photogrammetric system. The main difference between the Lite and professional PHOTOMOD versions is a limit on the number of images, vector objects, TIN nodes, breaklines etc.
However, PHOTOMOD Lite allows to execute small photogrammetric projects for orthomosaics, DTMs and vector maps creation. PHOTOMOD Lite is an excellent solution for realisation of scientific and educational projects and can be used for training of engineers and students.
The version also contains programs: PHOTOMOD GeoMosaic, PHOTOMOD GCP Survey, PHOTOMOD GeoCalculator.

The Alliance for Integrated Spatial Technologies at the University of South Florida, USA, recently worked with the Florida Park Service on a project to document the remains of several historic sugar-mill sites in the State Parks to create as-builts to be used in preservation and conservation of these resources. The FARO LS 880, along with GPS and total station georeferencing and colour imaging, was used on these projects.
