The RapidEye constellation of five satellites offers daily revisit time to every location on the planet with a 40km-wide footprint. RapidEye adds a fifth band, the red edge, to the 'traditional' multispectral set of blue, green, red and near-infrared (NIR). The red edge has been found to be particularly useful when studying vegetative health and stress.</description>

<description>Topocart has completed the first stage of a project involving more than 35,000 aerial photographs covering an area greater than 250,000 square kilometres in the State of São Paulo (Brazil). In addition to the State area, a 2.5km-wide patch beyond the State boundary was also covered. In order to guarantee the final accuracy, more than 1,500 points on field and more than 500 points of quality checking were traced. For the altitude compensation, an elaborate, specific geoid model was created, including almost 2,000 gravimetric points in the existing State territory. </description>
