7th International Conference on Cartography & GIS
& Seminar with EU cooperation on Early Warning and Disaster Management
Sozopol, Bulgaria, 18-23 June 2018
Organized by International Cartographic Association, Bulgarian Cartographic Association and University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Sofia, Bulgaria.
The event will be held during Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, 2018.
Upon very successful events in 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016, 7th edition of the International Conference on Cartography and GIS (ICC&GIS) is organized in Bulgaria.
As a part of the conference several other events will be held during 18-23 June:
- Special Session “Digital Earth for Smart Solutions” supported by International Society for Digital Earth will be part of the conference;
- ICA commissions will hold their annual meetings;
Proceedings will be submitted for indexing in SCOPUS and Web of Science.
DEADLINES
10 January 2018 - Deadline for Abstract submission;
- 28 January 2018 - Payment of early registration fee;
- 1 May 2018 - Final full paper submission and payment of regular registration fee.
PLACE
Sozopol is an ancient seaside town located 35 km south of Burgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Today it is one of the major seaside resorts in the country.
The busiest times of the year are the summer months, ranging from May to September as tourists from around the world come to enjoy the weather, sandy beaches, history and culture, fusion cuisine (Balkan, Mediterranean), and atmosphere of the colorful resort.
