Tele Atlas MultiNet Digital Map Database

Tele Atlas has announced that the new version of its MultiNet digital map database is the first global digital map database to use community-provided data to validate changes. Released in October, MultiNet version 2008.10 incorporates community input provided by TomTom users in Europe and North America that strengthened Tele Atlas' map change detection and validation process. MultiNet version 2008.10 also features an initial delivery of major specification upgrades including improved navigation, visualisation and search capabilities. MiTAC Extends Relationship with Tele Atlas

Tele Atlas (Netherlands) and MiTAC International (Taiwan) have announced that MiTAC navigation solution subsidiaries Mio and Navman have extended their agreements to use Tele Atlas digital maps and content for each brand's complete range of personal navigation devices and products. Tele Atlas Coverage of Seven African Countries

Tele Atlas (The Netherlands) has announced a license and distribution agreement with MapIT (Pty) Ltd., based in Pretoria, Republic of South-Africa.
