Renewable Energy Atlas Launched on Earth Day

The Renewable Energy Atlas of Vermont, built on ESRI's ArcGIS technology, was launched on Earth Day, 22nd April 2010. Web site visitors can identify, visualise, and analyse data about existing and promising renewable energy projects for Vermont's towns and counties. Visitors can select from biomass, efficiency, geothermal, hydroelectric, solar, and wind renewable energy data layers and use geographic information system (GIS) tools to view existing and proposed projects by area. Tele Atlas Forms JV in Taiwan

Tele Atlas (The Netherlands) has announced a joint venture with Systems and Technology Corporation (S&T) to form Tele Atlas Taiwan Co., Ltd., an independent entity focused on delivering a complete digital map of the territory for portable, Internet, in-car and wireless navigation systems and applications. MiTAC Extends Relationship with Tele Atlas

Tele Atlas (Netherlands) and MiTAC International (Taiwan) have announced that MiTAC navigation solution subsidiaries Mio and Navman have extended their agreements to use Tele Atlas digital maps and content for each brand's complete range of personal navigation devices and products.
