CGO: a New Post-processing Software Solution

CHC Geomatics Office (CGO) is a software solution dedicated to post processing of static and kinematic GNSS raw data. The solution supports GPS, GLONASS and BeiDou data in various raw data formats and is compatible with major equipment brands allowing a seamless integration with an existing pool of equipment. George Zhao, CEO of CHC says that the CGO software suite reinforces the company’s commitment to provide full GNSS solutions to the customers including post-processing applications. ChinterGEO 2016: Creating a New Era Founded on 20 Years of Continuity

Marking 20 years of continuity linked to the Chinese and overseas communities of surveying, mapping and geoinformation equipment, the 20th ChinterGEO conference was held from 24-26 November 2016 at the Suzhou International Expo Center in China. Trimble Increases Functionality Across GNSS Survey Receivers

Trimble has announced functionality updates to its integrated GNSS survey receiver portfolio, which includes the Trimble R4, Trimble R6, Trimble R8 GNSS systems and is rounded out by the recently released Trimble R10 GNSS System. Geneq Unveils NTRIP Client App for iOS

Geneq has introduced a new NTRIP client app for iOS that works with iSXBlue receivers. iSXBlue RTN is used alongside other geospatial information systems (GIS) and surveying apps to obtain real-time centimetre accuracy on an iPhone or iPad. Key features include real-time kinematic (RTK) alarm configurations with NTRIP and DIP modes. The easy-to-use app allows users to update their receiver with the latest firmware, the company said. New GLONASS Signal Tracking Capability for Topcon

Topcon Positioning Group has announced its NET-G5 GNSS reference receiver, capable of tracking a new signal from the GLONASS constellation. The GLONASS-M 55 satellite was launched in June 2014 and is equipped with the experimental payload capable of transmitting signals in the L3 frequency band. Engineers successfully tracked the signal with the NET-G5 receiver during a series of recent tests at the Topcon Technology Center in Moscow, Russia. U.S. Geological Survey Receives New GNSS Reference Receivers for Volcano Monitoring

Septentrio has completed the delivery of PolaRx5 multi-constellation GNSS reference receivers and antenna systems to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The monitoring systems will be deployed through the Volcano Hazards Program (VHP) for volcano monitoring stations in Alaska and at various international locations through the Volcano Disaster Assistance Program (VDAP),  a cooperative effort between the USGS and the U.S. Agency for International Development's Office of U.S. Foreign Disaster Assistance.
