FARO and KOREC Sign Agreement

FARO Technologies and KOREC have signed an agreement allowing KOREC to supply the FARO Laser Scanner Focus3D. This is an instrument which uses laser technology to produce detailed three-dimensional images of complex environments and geometries in just a few minutes.   Since FARO launched the first large scale scanner, the LS 80/80 the sales indicated that large scale scanning has been adopted increasingly by the surveying and construction industries.   Both companies see good possibilities in the combination with other products in the KOREC offering for further processing of the acquired data.   (read more)

FARO and UCL Sign Agreement

FARO, manufacturer of mobile 3D laser scanning systems and measurement devices for buildings and large-scale projects, and University College of London (UCL) have signed an agreement under which the company will provide the university with hardware, computer software and staff training. FARO Acquires Software Developer Kubit
