Ascending Technologies and Spectair Join Forces

UAV manufacturer Ascending Technologies and provider of UAV services Spectair, both from Germany, have signed an agreement to co-operate intensively on training, sales and service support. Both companies expect this collaboration to deliver numerous benefits to their customers.

Ascending Technologies has been developing and manufacturing quadrocopters, hexacopters and octocopters in Germany since 2007. The AscTec Falcon 8 is an advanced UAV platform for aerial survey, aerial imaging, inspection and remote sensing. A company’s systems are known for its user-friendliness and in-air stability, the AscTec Pelican and AscTec Hummingbird quadrocopters and the AscTec Firefly hexacopter are some examples. These and other products, all of which are the result of Ascending Technologies’ in-house R&D activities, are used and appreciated by research institutes around the world.

With over 14,000 UAV flight hours, ISO 9001-certified Spectair has experience of working on countless projects. It offers a wide range of high-quality training, both theoretical and practical, for owners of UAVs. It has already helped many pilots and camera operators to qualify to various flight levels. With its own hangar as well as a variety of realistic industrial situations (chimneys, pipelines, high-rise buildings, warehouse buildings, etc.) and a specially designed practice course, the company offers first-rate conditions in which to prepare pilots for commercial projects. Furthermore, the Ascending Technologies flight systems can be demonstrated and purchased at Spectair’s Düsseldorf premises.
