Colombian Company Adopts MWH Soft Geospatial Infrastructure Modelling Technology
MWH Soft (CO, USA) has announced that Empresas de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Villavicencio ESP (Villavicencio), Colombia, has awarded the firm a substantial contract for its GIS-based H2OMAP Water and Sewer software suites plus its Platinum Subscription program. The programs, chosen following a competitive review, will be used to screen and evaluate cost-effective management strategies for Villavicencio's water distribution and sewer collection systems with an eye to best accommodating continued community growth. Serving a population of 310,430, the utility operates and maintains 400 kilometres of water mains and 350 kilometres of combined sewer mains.
