GITA White Paper

The Geospatial Information and Technology Association (CO, USA) has published a white paper on use of its Geospatial Technology Report as a GIS benchmarking tool. The author is Jeffrey Myerson, director of Land & Field Services at CenterPoint Energy in Houston, Texas, whose paper offers a comprehensive analysis of geospatial projects at more than two hundred infrastructure-based organisations. It includes, for instance, project expenditure details, six-year trend analysis, implementation approaches, and top-10 applications and technologies. GITA has also released details on how infrastructure-based organisations can receive a free copy of the next edition of the report.
