GNSS Receivers for German Government

Josef Attenberger GmbH, Germany, won a tender from the state authority for Geo Information and Land Development Baden-Württemberg (LGL) to supply 100 GNSS systems for the local InVeKoS control with the Altus APS-3 GNSS receiver. The tender required 100 GNSS systems that included an integrated GSM modem, Bluetooth interface, NMEA interface, correction data port, raw data recording and extensive accessories. The Altus APS-3 receiver fulfilled all requirements.

On request of LGL, the system is provided with a rucksack carrying system. The APS-3 GNSS receivers are certified for local InVeKoS control by TÜV-Süd according to EU regulations.

The price-performance relation and the quality of the Altus APS-3 receivers, together with the personal commitment of the Attenberger team for maintenance and service, convinced the decision-making body of LGL to award the sale to Josef Attenberger GmbH.

The APS-3 GNSS receivers are manufactured by Altus Positioning Systems Inc. in Torrance, California, and are sold by Josef Attenberger GmbH in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On this project, Dr. Jochen Bäuerle from Vermessungsbüro Bäuerle in Flein, Germany consulted to provide software interfaces to LGL requirements. Dr. Bäuerle was assisted by Altus with complete Interface Control Documentation and technical support for configuring the APS-3.
