HDL-32E LiDAR Sensor Demo

Velodyne LiDAR is to display the latest in sensor technology with its HDL-32E in booth 934 at the 2011 AUVSI Unmanned Systems North America conference being held from 16th to 19th August 2011 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington DC, USA.  

The HDL-32E is a small, lightweight and rugged sensor designed to satisfy the needs of numerous markets including autonomous navigation, 3D mobile mapping, entertainment and security. It features 32 lasers aligned across a 40° vertical Field of View (FOV) and generates 700,000 distance measurement points per second. The HDL-32E is just 5.68 inches high by 3.36 inches wide and weighs 2.4 pounds.

 

The HDL-32E will also be on display in the Velodyne booth, #N3-475, at the Defense & Security Equipment International (DSEI 2011) conference in London England from 13th to 16th September 2011, and in the Velodyne booth, #262, at the ASIS International 2011 conference in Orlando, FL, on from 19th to 22nd September 2011.
