MAGNUM G600 Colour Scanner

Contex (VA, USA) announces the new MAGNUM G600 Scanner, a 54” wide scanner that incorporates technology for enhanced scan speed, 12 inches per second (ips) in monochrome and a superior colour speed of 3/ips, with image quality that rivals the original. MAGNUM G600 features advanced 48-bit CCD technology with 120,000 pixel image capture.
Additional features include, scan accuracy of 0.1%+- 1 pixel, Automatic Thickness Adjustment (ALE) for media up to 15mm thick, All wheel drive that cares for originals and flexible connectivity with both FireWire and USB 2.0 for ease of installation and use.


The scanner’s 54” imaging area handles very architectural sketches, detailed maps at very high speeds and offers unlimited possibilities for GIS and CAD.


All G600 models, including the MAGNUM, are supported with ContexNET architecture for scanning to file or not with the G600 models. ContexNET architecture allows users to access and share, with password protection, Contex scanners via unlimited clients in a local LAN environment and externally through the internet.
