New Choke Ring Antenna Supports GNSS

With the introduction of the Leica AT504 GG, Leica Geosystems announced a new version of its AT504 choke ring antenna for permanent reference stations and networks. This new antenna tracks GNSS observations, supplying GPS and Glonass data when used in conjunction with Leica GPS1200 GNSS receivers. The design of the AT504GG choke ring antenna suppresses multipath effects and has a very stable phase center making it suited for geodetic applications using GNSS observations.

The Leica AT504 GG guarantees uncompromising phase center stability (<1mm) and its characteristic and proven design provides suppression of multipath effects.

This geodetic choke ring antenna, developed by NASA/JPL and manufactured to Leica Geosystems’ precision standards, also conforms to antenna requirements recommended by the International GNSS Service (IGS).
