Pinebush Technologies Announce Availability of HyperXpress 5.0

Pinebush Technologies, Inc. (NY, USA), a developer of high performance printing and plotting software for semiconductor, CAD, GIS, A/E/C, and other technical markets, has announced the availability of HyperXpress 5.0. HyperXpress is a high performance software Raster Image Processor (RIP) designed to enhance productivity by dramatically decreasing the time it takes to print large, complex raster and vector images. HyperXpress is seamlessly integrated into design environments to enable fast, high quality printing to any desktop or wide format output device.

HyperXpress was created by Pinebush Technologies after solving the high performance plotting problem in the semiconductor industry with its now de facto standard HyperPlot. This high performance technology is now available inside HyperXpress for GIS, aerial photography, satellite imaging, civil engineering, architecture, and various other CAD and scientific applications. HyperXpress is available in three versions for different environments: Desktop, Network, and Server.

HyperXpress offloads the printer and does all the RIPing (Raster Image Processing) on a workstation. Images processed by HyperXpress will get to paper faster, and be of higher quality than if the printer tried to do the work itself. Large data sets often cause the printer to run out of memory, or print slower than when driven by HyperXpress. HyperXpress drives printers and plotters at full speed and only requires a minimal amount of memory to be installed on the output device.
