Satlab Geosolutions Opens Office in Singapore

Sweden-based survey and GIS equipment maker Satlab Geosolutions has announced its expansion into the Asia Pacific market with the establishment of an office in Singapore. With a local presence in the region, Satlab Geosolutions will be able to offer better service and support capabilities to the company’s expanding regional sales network.

Satlab Geosolutions also announced the appointment of Robert Leamon as its director, business development Asia Pacific. With over 20 years of GNSS-related business development and sales experience in the Asia Pacific region, Robert brings to the team a wealth of experience in the survey, GIS, GNSS, machine control, marine and navigation industries.

The opening of the Singapore office is an exciting next step for Satlab, after recently establishing the US operation, explained Björn Ågårdh, CEO of Satlab Geosolutions. After a successful expansion over the last few years into Turkey and the Czech Republic, the company wants to ensure customers in Asia Pacific get the same level of support that existing customers have come to expect, Ågårdh added.
