Tele Atlas Joint Venture in Indonesia

Tele Atlas NV (The Netherlands) has opened an Indonesian joint venture, PT Tele Atlas Indonesia. Formed as a business partnership between Tele Atlas and Indonesian map solutions provider PT Navindo Technologies, the new company will focus on delivering a highly accurate digital map database of Indonesia and on in-country marketing and sales activities.

PT Tele Atlas Indonesia will initially focus on enhancing its map database of core population centres, including Jakarta, Bandung and Surabaya, and is expected to deliver map products starting in early 2007. The joint venture will initially employ 20 people in an office located in central Jakarta.
