Topcon broadens technology offerings through acquisition of DCW

Topcon Positioning Systems has recently acquired Digital Construction Works (DCW), a US-based company specializing in construction software, data integrations and services. DCW's software integration platform will help Topcon customers maximize the use of construction data across multiple apps and software, enabling contractors to make more well-informed business decisions.

"Automation and the availability of integrated and aggregated data provide greater insights into project performance and status. Now, as part of Topcon, our integrations platform enhances the value of Topcon's interoperability with third-party software typically used to execute machine-guided operations. Streamlining construction planning with data-driven strategies

The DCW team is focused on integrating a project's planning and design phase with the construction and field completion phases, providing automated workflows, insightful visualization and reporting within a secure user-facing integration platform.
