Topcon FC-2000 Field Controller

Topcon (The Netherlands) has released the FC-2000, a rugged Windows CE field computer designed specifically for surveying applications. The new model will replace the FC-1000. It features a full-colour 320x240 QVGA touch-screen display, has a large 56-key keyboard with separate alpha and numeric buttons, and a Mini-B USB connector. The rugged and lightweight handheld is shockproof, waterproof and dustproof to IP66. Its computing power combined with TopSURV field controller software ensures optimum performance of Topcon Total station or Topcon GPS. Data is easily accessible via a removable Compact Flash card. In addition, communication with any other device is possible via serial and USB ports or Bluetooth.
