Vulcan Version 7 Released
Maptek (Australia) has released version 7 of Vulcan, software for 3D modelling and mine planning. This version includes major enhancements for coal customers and Chronos users.
New tools have been added to CAD, Open Pit, Dump Design and Statistics menus. Improvements to existing tools in Survey, Geotech, Pit Layout, Bench & Batters, Progress Maps, Image Registration, Ring Design, Drill & Blast, Grade Control, Pit Optimiser, Grade Shells, Geophysics and Intelligent Objects are supported by a further 1000 smaller enhancements and fixes.
