The international conference on spatial data infrastructures 2010 will be held from 15th to 17th September 2010 hosted by FON University in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. The main theme of the Conference is the development and use of Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI's) and all their aspects. The ambition of the conference is to become the major SDI conference in the region of South-East Europe and be influential here for SDI development. ISPRS Technical Commission I SymposiumThe ISPRS Commission I Symposium took place at Calgary Convention centre from 15th to 18th June, in parallel with the first Canadian Geomatics Conference the theme of which was: Convergence in Geomatics - Shaping Canada's Competitive Landscape. The opening ceremony included an address by Professor Orhan Altan, ISPRS president. Plenary speeches were given by Glen Hodgson, vice-president and senior economist of the Conference Board of Canada, and Jim Garinger, former Governor of the State of Wyoming. 13th PAQS Conference

Commission 10, Construction Economics and Management, has lately focused its activities on project management, but quantity surveying is still a high-status item on its agenda.
