ISPRS Events Israel Postponed

Because of the tentions in the Middle West, the ISPRS Council has decided to postpone the "7th Joint ICA/EuroGeographic International Workshop on Incremental Updating & Versioning" and "Commission VIII Symposium 'Remote Sensing Applications for a Sustainable Future" both planned to be held beginning September in Haifa, Israel. GIS-Pro 2011 Events

A number of events will be featured at GIS-Pro 2011: URISA's 49th Annual Conference taking place from 1st to 4th November 2011 in Indianapolis, USA. An 'All Things Geospatial' evening, Ignite session, Lightning Talks, an OpenStreetMap Lab, Esri Technical Workshops and User Group Meeting, and a DevMeetUp are all scheduled this year. URISA is also hosting a working group during the conference to develop the final tier of the Geospatial Technology Competency Model for the US Department of Labor (DOL). Cartographic Events Spanning the Globe

Two events in September this year will demonstrate the global span of the cartographic discipline; at contraposed points on our planet, there are concurrent cartographic conferences which, although national in organisation, the ICA recommends as being internationally significant. GeoCart2018 is the biennial national cartographic conference of the New Zealand Cartographic Society (NZCS), and is scheduled for 5-7 September 2018. STAR-APIC Exhibiting at Two Events Simultaneously

The STAR-APIC Group will exhibit at MED-IT Algeria from 26th to 28th September 2011. ISPRS Geospatial Week 2015: 11 Events under One Umbrella

France hosted the ISPRS Geospatial Week 2015 which was held in La Grande Motte near Montpellier from 28 September to 2 October. The event attracted more than 500 participants from 52 countries.
