Cansel Acquires Autodraft

Cansel has acquired Autodraft. The combination of Cansel, Global CADD Systems, a division of Cansel, and Autodraft will create Canada's only provider of integrated software, hardware and services solutions for optimising workflow. The move makes Cansel the only Autodesk Gold reseller in Western Canada with a newly combined team of specialists created to assist customers with the transition and optimisation of Building Information Management (BIM) for A/E/C, Mechanical/Manufacturing and Plant Solutions.

The acquisition brings together some of the industry's strongest technologies paired with the most experienced and largest team of Autodesk applications specialists in Canada. Cansel can now leverage the best practices and strengths from two of the top Autodesk partners in Canada.

In the upcoming weeks, the company will begin executing the planned integration of the two companies' operations, networks and customer care organisations to ensure a smooth transition with immediate value for customers and partners.
