Diamond Airborne Sensing (Austria) has introduces the DA42 MPP (Multi Purpose Platform) twin engine aircraft is perfectly suited for carrying multifunctional airborne sensors, which combines the advantages and flexibility of a business aircraft with the very specialised needs of sensor operators.


This model of the DA42 MPP was designed by Diamond Airborne Sensing specifically for carrying sensitive mission equipment, such as:


  • large format, digital frame cameras
  • panchromatic and multi-spectral line scanners
  • hyper-spectral line scanners
  • laser scanners
  • Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) & Interferometric SAR (InSAR)
  • gyro-stabilised cameras for high-definition TV
  • gyro-stabilised, multi-sensor cameras for law enforcement and environmental surveillance.

Diamond Airborne Sensing offers services in the fields of laser scanning and photogrammetry. Their services include: mission planning, data acquisition, post-processing, and evaluation. Implementation of laser scanning projects covers, for example, exact flight planning, evaluation of trajectory data via GPS and IMU, filtering of laser-scatter-plots and transfer of the acquired data into the desired coordinate system.
