FME Data Server for GeoMedia WebMap

Safe Software Inc. (Canada) has announced a new product for Intergraph GeoMedia WebMap users: FME Data Server for GeoMedia WebMap. This product is based on the industry-standard FME core Spatial ETL (extract, transform, and load) technology.

This solution enables GeoMedia WebMap users to gain direct access to spatial data in more than 130 different formats, including ArcSDE, Geodatabase, PostGIS, IBM DB2, MapInfo, AutoCAD, and many others.

FME Data Server for GeoMedia WebMap takes advantage of Intergraph's GeoGraphic Data Objects (GDO) interoperability technology so that WebMap can now use even more geographic data without having to first translate it from its native format. FME Data Server for GeoMedia WebMap adds a new read-only warehouse connection type to GeoMedia. The FME connection type gives GeoMedia direct access to the FME's semantic data transformation processor and vast library of formats, substantially supplementing GeoMedia's built-in capabilities.
