Leica Sets Benchmark for Laser Visibility with Lino Series

Leica Geosystems, an industry leader in reality capture technology, has announced the new Lino series of cross and point line lasers, specially created to ensure outstanding laser visibility. The clever power concept with Li-ion rechargeable batteries enables users to work without inconvenient interruptions. Thanks to the ingenious adapter concept with its strong magnets, the laser is also simple and quick to position.

“In addition to precision, the most important features of an outstanding point or line laser are highly visible laser lines and practical adapters to allow the laser to be quickly and precisely positioned anywhere on the construction site,” said Elvir Malkoc, product manager of Lino. “The new red and green Lino laser range fulfils these requirements.”

The new green laser diodes are up to four times more visible meaning users can now work more efficiently, even in very bright ambient light conditions. Vertical and horizontal alignment of the lines and points are also easy with new self-levelling lasers.

Leica Lino point and cross-line lasers can be operated with Li-ion rechargeable or alkaline batteries or they can be connected directly to the power supply.

The lasers connect to the precision-made adapters by strong magnets, thus ensuring work is done quickly and precisely. The rotating TWIST adapters can be set up on edges and profiles or fixed to tubes and rails. The laser is infinitely adjustable in height thanks to the setting wheel on the magnetic wall bracket.

The lasers are manufactured out of high-grade strong materials and are therefore extremely suitable for use on construction sites. The optics are protected by a high-grade aluminium frame and impact-absorbing rubber components.
