Ordnance Survey of UK Selects Z/II’s DMC

Intergraph Mapping and Geospatial Solutions (AL, USA) announced Ordnance Survey of Great Britain has purchased a Z/I Imaging Digital Modular Camera system. The DMC will extend Ordnance Survey's capabilities for the timely capture and delivery of precise, high-quality geo-corrected imagery, which forms the basis of the organisation's national mapping product portfolio. The purchase enables OS to a complete conversion of its photogrammetric operations into a whole digital process from mission planning through orthophoto production to mapping. Ordnance Survey is the government agency responsible for surveying and topographic mapping of Great Britain.
