RTS700 Total Station Series Released

A new series of total station, RTS700, has been released by FOIF (China). The company stated that the RTS700 hardware features a 32-bit CPU and 16Mb of internal memory. The RTS700 has a fast restart and calculation speed and can record more than 10,000 points. With the alphanumeric keyboard, GUI (Graphic User Interface), wide display and touch screen, the instruments are easy to use. The dual-axis compensator ensures high accuracy of the angle measurement. Both RS-232C and USB communication ports can be used; also are Li-ion battery for power, fast infrared EDM and two-movement speed for motion knob.


For software, RTS700 is equipped with an onboard road alignment and mapping program that features highway designing and layout, real-time drawing, dynamic scanning, mapping and editing to realise the integration of field work (measuring) and office work (mapping). The new total station is available in two lines: RTS702/703/705 and RTS712/715. RTS702/703/705 models feature an applied photoelectric incremental encoder; RTS712/715 models feature an applied absolute encoder. All models of the new RTS700 series are backed by standard international warranties.
