Series30RK - A new series of Total Stations from Sokkia

Sokkia (Japan) has introduced a new series of reflectorless total stations, Series30RK.
It features reflectorless RED-tech II EDM that provides reliable, long distance reflectorless measurement. The Class 3R laser models measure distances from 30cm to 350m with an survey-grade accuracy of +/-(3+2ppm x D) mm from 30cm to 200m, and +/-(5+10ppm x D) mm over 200 to 350m (650 to 1,140 ft.) (With Kodak Gray Card white side, 90 % reflective). Its ultra-narrow visible laser performs accurate pinpoint measurement and serves as a convenient laser pointer.

The Series30RK incorporates a backlit alphanumeric keypad, a first for its class, for quick and easy entry of point data even when working in low light conditions. The IP66-grade protection against dust and water frees you from concerns regarding working environment. The Series30RK provides you with all the features you want for your surveying partner, including a wealth of built-in survey programs, easy-to-view LCD screen, one-touch target selection function, long working duration with the Li-ion battery equipped as standard, a Guide Light Unit for speedy setting-out a CompactFlash card unit (both factory option), and more.

The Series30RK comes with seven model options according to laser class and angle reading accuracy: Class 3R long range models are SET230RK3 (2?h /0.6mgon), SET330RK3 (3?h/1mgon), SET530RK3 (5?h/1.5mgon), and Class 2 models are SET230RK (2?h /0.6mgon), SET330RK (3?h/1mgon), SET530RK (5?h/1.5mgon), SET630RK (6?h/1.9mgon).
