SimActive Agreement with Space Imaging Middle East

SimActive, the Canadian developer of photogrammetry software, has entered into an agreement with Space Imaging Middle East (SIME), whereby SIME will act as an authorised SimActive distributor in the Middle East region. SIME has also purchased SimActive’s Correlator3D product which it will be using primarily for satellite image processing, but also for processing large format aerial and small format UAV imagery.

SIME will focus on generating large DEMs and orthomosaics spanning over 150,000 square kilometres.  They were impressed with the software's capability and processing times, said Mohamad El Kadi, managing director of SIME. The results achieved were not only produced quickly, but with a high degree of accuracy.

SimActive is pleased to collaborate with a geospatial leader such as Space Imaging Middle East, said Philippe Simard, president of SimActive. SIME is now even better positioned to offer accurate and timely photogrammetry products and services.
