Synoptics Now Operating as Vexcel Netherlands

Following up on the May 2005 sale of its assets to remote sensing company Vexcel Corporation (CO, USAO, the Netherlands-based remote sensing company Synoptics is now operating under the name Vexcel Netherlands.

Since 1995, Synoptics has specialised in providing satellite-based geo-data and GIS tools for monitoring agricultural, water, nature and environmental processes. Its off-the-shelf products include digital crop maps and digital elevation maps that allow for rapid production and distribution. Through its applied knowledge in remote sensing and its GIS expertise, Synoptics continues to develop and produce custom management and planning geospatial solutions for customers.
