Trimble Record FY 2004

Trimble (CA, USA) results for Q4 and FY 2004, ended 31st December 2004 reveal revenue for Q4 was US$ 162.7 million, up approximately 20% from the same quarter 2003. Revenue for FY 2004 was US$ 668.8 million, up approximately 24% from the US$ 540.9 million revenue reported for the previous year. Net income for Q4 2004 was US$ 16.4 million, against US$ 15.1 million for that in the previous year. Net income for FY 2004 was US$ 67.7 million, a 76% increase on the US$38.5 million for the previous year. (read more)

Trimble Q3 Results

Trimble (CA, USA) has published its results for the third fiscal quarter ended 1st October 2004. Revenues were approximately US$ 170.2 million, a 22% increase in comparison to the same period last year. GAAP net income was approximately US$ 17.9 million, an 80% increase over the third quarter of 2003. Non-GAAP net income was approximately US$ 15.2 million, a 64% increase over the third quarter of 2003. (read more)

Trimble Purchases Penmap Software

Trimble has taken over a suite of software solutions from Bradford-based Ltd., United Kingdom.’s solutions include both office and field data-capture software specifically designed for the cadastral and surveying markets. The software suite enables Trimble to further address local application requirements and customer needs by providing complete, customised surveying software solutions for the cadastral market. Financial terms were not disclosed. The software solutions Trimble has added to its corporate portfolio include: Penmap encore: a solution specifically designed for PDAs and handheld GPS receivers running Windows Mobile operating system. Build Your Connected Site
The annual Trimble Dimensions show was held from 6th to 8th November 2006 in the Convention Center at the Mirage Hotel, Las Vegas, USA. With the theme ‘Build Your Connected Site’, the event was as much about civil engineering and construction as surveying. Two thousand participants attended this event, which followed the usual format of keynotes, technical sessions and a trade-show. Trimble Acquires INPHO GmbH

Trimble (CA, USA) has acquired privately-held INPHO GmbH (Germany) in an all-cash transaction. INPHO is a leader in photogrammetry and digital surface modelling for aerial surveying, mapping and remote sensing applications. Financial terms were not disclosed. As an end-to-end photogrammetry solutions supplier, INPHO's product portfolio covers the entire workflow of projects, including aerial triangulation, stereo compilation, terrain modeling, orthophoto production and image capture. Trimble VRS Now Service

Trimble (CA, USA) h as launched the Trimble VRS Now Service in Madrid, Spain. This service provides surveyors, civil engineers and geospatial professionals in the area with instant access to real-time kinematic (RTK) Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) corrections without the need for a base station. The Trimble service delivers centimeter-level RTK positioning customized for each GNSS receiver's location anywhere in the network. Trimble Forward Motion Compensation

Trimble (CA, USA) has introduced forward motion compensation (FMC) capability for its Trimble Aerial Camera. The new capability compensates for the forward motion of an aircraft during data capture allowing a 2x increase in maximum flight speed and up to a 3 stop decrease in shutter speed compared to aerial cameras without FMC for typical flight altitudes and camera lens. The announcement was made today at the 2010 Intergeo Conference and trade fair.
